Julian! You're back. You have touched a nerve in me with the donkey motif, moving on, I am unsurprised by the quality of the port. A decent vintage well presented, now that would be unexpected...

I saw some Niepoort 10yo being offered in Desenzano restaurants at reasonable prices. What prevented me from trying any was the fact the open bottles had been sitting on the shelf for a number of weeks in 30C temperatures.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
