I saw this on wine searcher and thought it worth a look;

The article seemed to be taking it's lead from the DRT school of puns, (without of course his daring invention) however it and the link to the actual article at the bottom of the page seem quite interesting. I think I have been influenced pretty directly by other people's notes. I remember drinking a Sandeman 85, reading a tasting note and suddenly noticing a sour note at the end reported in the old note. I wonder about scoring too, however since most are done on the 100 point scale and most are between 88 and 95 I tend to discount them as being too vague to be helpful. The tenor of the note says more to me. How influenced are we, especially neophytes, by what has been written.
It is curious how the first few notes seem so influential. Get writing the 2012 notes if you want to live forever.
Write the note, then read the database.

Pleased to oblige. I'm hoping that by living forever I might be able to drink my 2011s (and 2012s).LGTrotter wrote:I saw this on wine searcher and thought it worth a look;
