Regatta dos Barcos Rabelos 2013

Post by Axel P »

from the Pink Reporter Axel Probst:

On June 24th the traditional Regata de Barcos Rabelos (Portwine-boat-Regata) was carried out. After strong east winds in the morning, the winds improved nicely, but did not really favour the race. The start was at approx. 3.30 pm with soft NNW winds, which caused 50% of the boats to float to the south bank of the Douro. Other than that it was a fairly good race with good company and no Rose Port on board. In the end the Cockburn boat won:

Guess what is in the glass to the Confrare on the right as it does have something to do (very actual with Taylor).

PS. Roy and Tom are not permitted to vote.

Yes it is. I grab those whenever I can find them, partly because they're just plain good and partly because it's my birth year.
