Cherry red in colour. Nutty nose, with some lovely dried cherry. Delicious toasted sugar and Scottish butter tablet on the palate, a gentle layer of vanilla and a gorgeous cherry fudge late. A little spice shows on the aftertaste and finish, a finish which is very long. A very satisfying glass of Port. 88/100.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026
