2019 Cockburn LBV

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Wonderful on the nose, floral fruit. Smooth texture, soft sweet fruit. Good acidity with tannins mostly hidden. Lovely long floral finish. This is just gorgeous. 88/100. Tasted 18-Feb-2025.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026
