Quevedo 2011, UK in-bond

Post by oscar quevedo »

Interest has been expressed in buying Quevedo 2011 for delivery to the UK, in-bond. Transport would be most efficiently done in one larger order, rather than several smaller orders. If you want, please PM or email me and I’ll send prices and make arrangements. oscar at quevedoportwine dot com

Is someone from TPF volunteering to coordinate this for Oscar and to provide him with a single, consolidated order?
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

Individual negotiations have begun, but we are waiting for someone with experience of these things to take command.

I'd certainly be interested in an order-though alas, not 585 litres or 30 Imperials for that matter. Who's co-ordinating this end or is it individual PMs/e-mails to Oscar and then a bulk consignment? If I could also get hold of some over 40yrs at the same time, so much the better!

Alex, I'll try to coordinate this with each one of you. I may need help later, but then I'll ask for that.

Ian, you can let me know what would you want to get of the V11. The easiest and cheapest is probably send all to Seckford Wines and then see case by case. But with the volumes we are having confirmed, the transport cost per bottle to the UK will certainly be below 1 euro per bottle.

Thank you to all of you that has shown interest in our 2011 Vintage. Also big thank you to the admins of The Port Forum for letting me post this offer here. I can imagine that pretty much everyone that wanted to get some of our 2011 en primeur already did it. Anyways, the offer finishes this Friday, June 28th.

Cheers,

Oscar
