Do you need a bottle carrier?
Do you need a bottle carrier?
I found this on eBay: 8 x Faux Leather 2-Bottle Wine Carriers for £59.99 (£7.50 each) including delivery.
If there is sufficient interest in owning one or more of these I will buy a batch of 8 and distribute them at forthcoming tastings.
Interested?
Derek

Re: Do you need a bottle carrier?
Seems like a good idea; I'll go for one, please, if you have sufficient interest to buy the batch.
Re: Do you need a bottle carrier?
Rob & Phil, thanks for your interest.
I actually want two, so we now have half the batch allocated. Hopefully a few more will be interested

Sounds like fun - yes please Derek.
I don't get to London much any more but if you know a friend in Reading, that might work.

I know a friend in Wokingham and another in Henley. If you can get to them and they are happy to pass on then I'll put you down for one. Or you could get your ar$e to London for a tasting more often

Re: Do you need a bottle carrier?
Was thinking of AHB but whatever works
Working in Reading and personal commitments mean that evenings where I can head to London aren't frequent at all. I used to live 20 minutes from Charing Cross and had plenty of free evenings - times change though. Would be good to get to another tasting especially if we can repeat the view from Marble Arch that we had on my first one...

Re: Do you need a bottle carrier?
Sorry, I forgot all about this.
I just went to eBay and noticed that the seller had 9 batches of 8 carriers and has only sold 1 batch. I made a "Best Offer" of £50 (£9.99 less than the asking price) and now have confirmation that the offer has been accepted.
I'm keeping two for myself. Rob, Phil and Nick have baggsied one each, so there are three up for grabs @ £6.25 each.

Re: Do you need a bottle carrier?
The bottle carriers arrived today. They will gradually migrate to London over the next few weeks.
Two carriers are available at £6.25 each for anyone who wants/needs one.

Re: Do you need a bottle carrier?
As some of you may have noticed, I already own one of these and can vouch for it's usefulness..
..if there's one spare when all others have been allocated, I'll join in, but I'm not desperate for an extra one.

Cheers, Tom!
I'll leave this for a couple of weeks. If no one grabs the remaining two one of them is yours

Hi Derek,
Wouldn't mind a second one if there's still availability. No worries if not.
No current plans to visit London but may need to check the tastings coming up
Many thanks,
Nick
