I've not ever tried this wine. In general, I find 1997s are closed and surly. I am therefore generally not opening 1997s.

Oh, and I don't have any of the Taylor 1997. Yet.

Have you taken a look at FTLOP's tasting note database? Roy has one tasting note posted and there are four member tasting notes.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026
