The sooner we can get your bottles stood up to settle, the better, and I have half a decanter of Noval '66 to see us on our way..Also, Tom, would you like any help with the decanting before the evening starts?
The house is a bit of a disaster area at the moment - but that's par for the course..
Tom
PS An old friend, Dave Binyon, who has a taste for life's finer things - will probaly be joining us.
Any more late entries??

I've tried a few folks, but most are claiming prior engagements.
Never mind.
Tom - what time will you be up tomorrow? I shall be driving past your house on my way to Norwich at about 7am. I could call in and drop my bottles off to allow them to settle for a few hours before decanting if that early was not too early. I'll be finished in Norwich around 3pm so should be with you at about 4:30pm to help with the decanting.

I will bring with me emergency supplies of travel filter and coffee filter paper. I will also bring decanter label chains.
Anything else needed? Do I need to bring glasses?

How have you done this? The A3s were replaced with the A4. So have you just blown-up the A4? There won’t be table space for two A3s plus an A4 per person.AHB wrote:Done - mats and labels on simplex A3, notes on simplex A4

When I took a look at the pdf file, it appeared that there was a single page for glasses for each person and a single tasting notes page. Add in the decanter labels and this made 17 pages for 8 people. I did take the simple approach and printed the glasses mats on A3 and the tasting notes on A4. Net result, 1 sheet of A3 per person with 12 glass spaces and 1 sheet of A4 notes.jdaw1 wrote:How have you done this? The A3s were replaced with the A4. So have you just blown-up the A4? And here was me thinking that you had very kindly set it all up that way for me...

OK. There was. But then there wasn’t.
If it worked for you, I shan’t complain.

Jeff,
Sadly, you're a week too late. But there was no wireless connection available anyway.
