Was not aware of the existence of this bottle, but I'm glad I was able to buy it. To my knowledge I am only missing the Fortnum & Mason botteling now.

IIRC, it’s actually a 1992 Morgan that was relabeled as The Yeatman VP so they could use it at the hotel. They didn’t recork them, so the cork should reveal what it was originally.

7 x Warre 1975 @ £24.07 each delivered.
Think that's a bargain.
Great buy Neil, never tasted or even seen this; crack one open and let us know how it is.
Already have a few of these and have drunk a lot over the years. If they've been reasonably well looked after they're generally quite nice. Probably one of the better 75s. Nothing special, but good drinking especially if you can get them for a low-ish price.

A nicely drinking 51 year-old Port for a little over $32 is a fantastic win for sure.

Wasn't even an auction. One of the non-crazy offerings on Squelch.

Needless to say, there was only one thing to do.
Was it to yell "why?! Why?! Why would you do this?" and dash your tambuladeira to floor in the middle of the Confraria?

I might have done that if they’d been first to market with a 10 year old pink Port. But white, they’re just trying to catch up.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026

1 x 12 1977 Dows. Splitting with Mike W and Andrew K. Bottles are not in the greatest of shape but the price was right!
