A good deep garnet. Nose has cinnamon. Rich, but with an unusually dry palate. A bit soiled.

G60, mature rose red, 50% opaque. Attractive Turkish Delight on the nose, sweet rose water. Lovely mature and sweet fruit on the palate, dried sweet raspberry. Glorious on the palate. The sweet fruit shines on the aftertaste with a density that just delivers on the finish. Very good, one to add to the cellar for drinking over the next few years. 93/100.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026
