Yellow rim. Nose muddy. Wine cloudy. Seems over the hill, but does seem to gather itself together a little later.

GB60, very evolved appearance, pale brown, 10% opaque. A little vinegar on the nose although no sign of this on the otherwise hollow palate. A little bitter on the aftertaste, then a pleasant baked oat finish. Not bad in the end, but really not great. 84/100.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026
