Browning red, orange rim. Not much on nose. Palate has cough-drop but not much else.

Ca60, deep burnished copper colour, 40% opaque. Dried figs and redcurrant nose. Light and elegant on the palate, gentle but really rather lovely in structure and balance. Delicious ginger biscuit finish of great length. 91/100.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026
