95% opaque with red rim

I thought this smelt like expensive American Cabernet Sauvignon - then on retesting I though good La Rioja Alta - so obvious is the oak and mint leaf

The palate, though, is proper port, nicely rounded and mature and speaking to fine clean red cherry fruit and noble but soft chocolate tannins (65 % Michel Cluizel Madagascar)

This is very nice wine indeed. Really speaks to me.
