1966 Noval

Ben P. arranged a Bring a Bottle event, sighted, at the Boot & Flogger. And what an evening it was.

N66, dark red, 55% opaque. Nose of red fruit. Soft mature VP in early palate, with bitterness coming later; raspberries; excellent, very ’66, and fully mature. Do not wait.

This was a lovely fading shade of garnet. Licorice on the nose, and a nice fruity palate, but not a port to keep longer.
