I am still using Big Yellow Fulham for storage of my odd bottles (my 6-packs / 12-packs remain with Seckfords / BBR / Justerinis etc.)
I have two half height lockers there (c.500 bottles), which with price rises over the years has become more expensive than optimal to maintain, particularly when I am so infrequently in the country (so the convenience of 24hr access in central-ish London is no longer of such benefit to me).
Are there currently any alternate cost effective solutions for professional storage of loose bottles (< 6 packs) that people are aware of? I don't need physical access provided they have reasonably priced concierge-type services (acceptance of deliveries, picking and packing bottles for despatch by courier to London when needed).
Alternatively, does anyone have experience of the Kings Cross Big Yellow Wine Storage?
UK Professional storage options for odd bottles
Re: UK Professional storage options for odd bottles
I have circa 100 assorted bottles stored with Fine And Rare Wines. They allowed mixed cases and loose bottles.

Thanks! F&R were quite unenthusiastic and made it sound very difficult when i enquired about mix bottle storage back in c.2016, but perhaps times have changed. Will get back in contact.

I put most of them in circa 2011 so things may have changed...

Re: UK Professional storage options for odd bottles
Might be worth a discussion with 67 Pall Mall? They now effectively have unlimited storage in Central London. Not sure how interested they'd been in storing bottles for a non-member, but there are a few TPFers who are members so something might be possible? They'll definitely accept bottles sent to them, but not sure about sending stuff out - but anything is possible...
Re: UK Professional storage options for odd bottles
Thanks - 67 Pall Mall looks great and I'd certainly try to be a member & store some current drinking with them if I lived in/around London. Their rack rates for cases (I believe GBP 30 per year) probably still works out better than Big Yellow following recent price rises, but I think I've now found a reasonable solution at Seckfords-level pricing (but not Seckfords). Will post if it comes off!
