At the
Coronation tasting we discussed the absence of forthcoming tastings, and suggestions were made, including a 1966 horizontal (and
’94 ,
G|GM ). You know what to do.
The authorship of the first post is being changed from
JDAW to
NAC , as the latter has volunteered to be the organiser of this tasting.

Yes please. I might be around and available and - if I am - I love the 1966 vintage. I have Gould Campbell.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

Hi Could I be added to this please. I will check at the weekend what 1966s I have. My user name is not that helpful I know but I am the Michael who met some of you for the first time at the BFT and also attended Quevedo tasting last year. Maybe use MJRM. Thanks.

I have Fonseca, Taylor, Graham and Smith Woodhouse. The Smith Woodhouse (Wine Society bottling) was a 1 bottle auction purchase so cannot vouch for provenance but would be an addition to the list above.

This is still a few months off, but would quite like to get the bottles sorted on this ASAP.
Please send me details of condition/provenance and costs - either PM or email to
