Nor can I.
Warre Private Cellar & Other Late Releases vs “Normal” Bottlings - CANCELLED
Re: Warre Private Cellar & Other Late Releases vs “Normal” Bottlings - Tues 11 Oct 2022
The date works for me. I’m not sure I can assist other than financially with bottle availability.

Ditto, I’m afraid.Alex Bridgeman wrote: ↑06:52 Tue 07 Jun 2022 I regret that I cannot make the new date. Such a pity since I love the theme.
Re: Warre Private Cellar & Other Late Releases vs “Normal” Bottlings - Tues 11 Oct 2022
As there are a number of previously confirmed attendees who can't make the revised date, I've decided to postpone this until some point in 2023. Will revert with proposed dates...
Shall I cancel the B&F booking or is there an appetite to do something else that evening?

Re: Warre Private Cellar & Other Late Releases vs “Normal” Bottlings - POSTPONED
I can make this for whatever it is. Might I suggest a theme of bring something fortified as I have a bottle I've been wanting to try for a while.

Re: Warre Private Cellar & Other Late Releases vs “Normal” Bottlings - POSTPONED
I'd still be up for something if others are, would be good to see people (especially assuming I'm unable to make the crusted tasting) as it seems like ages since the last time. I don't mind what theme theme, and could be at B&F or elsewhere as you prefer (perhaps an opportunity to finally visit 67PM if there was only a small number of us?)

I am still up for this date - any theme works
Re: Warre Private Cellar & Other Late Releases vs “Normal” Bottlings - FEB 2023?
Right, another attempt at getting a date for this...
How about February 2023 - either Thursday 9th or Thursday 23rd?
First refusal obviously goes to those who were on the original attendee list. Please indicate your availability/preference for these suggested dates.

Re: Warre Private Cellar & Other Late Releases vs “Normal” Bottlings - FEB 2023?
I think I could make either of those Feb 23 dates and still have a ‘normal’ W70 to offer up if required.

Either of 9th or 23rd Feb look OK for me currently.

Either date works for me, with a slight preference for the 9th.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.
2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Re: Warre Private Cellar & Other Late Releases vs “Normal” Bottlings - FEB 2023?
I have just noticed the 23rd would mark the interesting palindromic date mark of 23022023.
EDIT : or maybe I am an idiot and we need to wait nine years for that to work

@ Doggett - I'm up for the palindromic port tasting in 2032. Presumably we will drink 1881, 1991, 2002
Re: Warre Private Cellar & Other Late Releases vs “Normal” Bottlings - FEB 2023?
I seem to recall 18/11/81 -not only palindromic but the same inverted!
Either date in Feb works for me.
Re: Warre Private Cellar & Other Late Releases vs “Normal” Bottlings - FEB 2023?
Likely to be 23rd. Just awaiting confirmation from B&F.
Re: Warre Private Cellar & Other Late Releases vs “Normal” Bottlings - 23 FEB 2023
Date is confirmed as Thursday 23rd February 2023.
Red Room at B&F is now booked.
I'll revisit the line-up and contact attendees later.
