1988 Chateau Gloria
Absolutely delicious, mature and ready for drinking. Wonderful mature fruit balanced by nearly integrated tannins. Fresh, refined and delicious. A very enjoyable bottle. The extra 4 years from when the last bottle was opened has allowed this wine to really blossom. 88/100. Drunk 01-Jun-2022. Decanted for 3 hours.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
