I read on this forum where saomeone said that this port 1997 Quinta Do Noval LBV Unfiltered was the best LBV they had ever had.
I want to try this, but can only find the 2001 version here in canada. I have tried it and like it.
However i want to find the 1997.
I am located in Canada.
Any ideas where to get? I can't find it anywhere in the us online.

Have you tried using Wine Searcher? This might help you out to find a retailer within reach who can supply you with the wine.

after finding out the regular vp being wine of the vintage..
even these lbv's are hard to track down..

I posted this tasting note on the 1997 Noval LBV a few days ago.
It is certainly worth seeking out but not something to pay over the odds for. Noval LBV's are consistently sold for between £10 and £12 in the UK and I would probably pay up to £15 if I really wanted one but certainly not the price g-man found above.
