NV Ramos Pinto White Reserva (Adriano)

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

An average age of about 7 years with the wines matured in cask. A surprisingly dry, sherry-like nose but the palate is a complete contrast, showing luscious floral peach and mango; sweet and wonderfully balanced. The tropical fruit slithers syrupily smoothly from the palate to the aftertaste revealing a pineapple and mango finish. Very long. Quite delicious. 88/100. Tasted 22-Mar-22.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
