My sweet Port-loving mother-in-law is in town. She would very much like to attend one of these events of which she has heard so much. And, by Wednesday 20th February 2019, I’ll be very thirsty. So an emergency is hereby declared.
No chance for me I'm afraid due to half-term commitments.

Perhaps "The Duchess" (a fabulous, but slightly faded LBV) would be more in keeping with the Niepoortland series; though I always hoped Dirk might add a Caterpillar-based port to the selection - which would clearly be a left-field concept, perhaps a Crusted Garrafeira?

I would be too scared to describe my mother-in-law as "fabulous, but slightly faded"

I am guessing that this emergency has been postponed. I might make it for a glass or two/three if it does go ahead but unlikely for a full tasting as I am out during the day. I hope your M-i-L has a good evening whether it be the B&F or not.
