Hello all!
I came across this bottle of Kopke port.
Haven't been able to find any information about it, starting to suspect it's fake or something.
Anybody seen this? Any information is helpful. Do I open it and enjoy or toss it?
Thanks in advance for any help anybody can give me.
Port rules!

The capsule and bottle appear to be correct from Kopke. Though I can't completely make out the molded logo on the glass. Kopke did use the white capsule for a time on some things in the past.

While I can't read the whole bottom part of the label it appears to say, in part, it's a natural wine that will have sediment. As such it appears to be some type of unfiltered or slightly filtered ruby Port. Perhaps what is known today as a Ruby Reserve Port.

It doesn't appear to be fake. This most likely wouldn't be worth much money.

I agree with Andy that it appears to be a genuine bottle of port, perhaps from the '50s. It's not something I recognise so I can't really help you in that respect.

However, it's probably still drinkable. At worst it's probably a light-weight barley sugar type of drink.

I would probably say from the late 1970's through the early 1990's. The Selo is post early 70's.

So it's not worth saving. I think I'll let it fullfill it's destiny and drink it.
Thanks for comments you all!
