Quantity quandary

We have about 15 people coming for drinks / pork and game pie / ham / mince pies later. I have decanted the S70 from Mag and a G85. I was minded to open an F70 as well, but can't tell whether I'd be overdoing it. They're not port drinkers. It's the equivalent of 4 bottles = 56 glasses / 15 = 3+ glasses each. Hardly excessive surely? So why do I feel apprehensive about opening the last bottle?
If it's to be opened, it must happen now. Opinions?

Depends how many are drinkers; will some bring bottles? will they prefer wine? How many are driving? Unless you think you will already have excess (possible, depending on answers) then the only down-side to opening an F70 as well is that you would have to drink more delicious port over the next few days - not really a down-side?

Sensible answer. Allays all my worst fears. I doubt there'll be anyone disagreeing with you. Off to open the F70 then…

It's Christmas, you can put it in the fridge well stoppered and drink it tomorrow, open it!
There is bound to be one sponge in human form present who will drink the lot and would have been just as happy with the brandy you are painting the cake with. Don't open it!

Thanks Owen. I'll be hyper vigilant. And will be monitoring intake. I know the likely suspects. They'd be happy with a sponge squeezed out from a mop bucket.

Having witnessed first hand your legendary vigilance when entertaining I'm not convinced that is going to work

I won't have such ardent distractors this time
(And we're not really feeding them.)

Thanks everyone. We got through the F70 and the G85 no problem, and the D'Oliveira 77 Terrantez, and the Priorat and some other things not requiring an individual name. They demolished the baked ham and half the pie. And in my fridge I have half a magnum of S70, that'll be nice drinking for Xmas.
