Hello.

Is there a reason that you don’t want to do it the old-fashioned way: buy from retailers, buy at auction, etc?

Yes, I would echo jdaw's advice, start in a shop.

Hi,

Welcome to :tpf:

I see from your website link that you are a Port enthusiast living in Isle de France, which probably explains why you have come here to find good Port.

Please tell us what is available to you in your local wine merchants and supermarkets so that we can try to point you in the direction of some better stuff.

Derek

I lived in Paris. Finding good Port is easy, provided that one starts by driving to Calais and boarding a ferry. Miserable city for a Port drinker.

(Assuming that you have noticed that Lavinia is fiercely expensive.)
