Hi all I have inherited a bottle of Noval unfiltered late bottled
Vintage port year 2000. I was wondering if it has a lot of value? Should I drink it now or wait for a special occasion?
Any help would be great!!!!

Hello and welcome. Noval LBV 2000 should be very pleasant drinking port. Drink it. But it has little second-hand value: maybe £10. Maybe £15. Not worth the paying of transport costs. Drink it with friends, and toast the person from whom you have inherited it.

The last couple decades worth of Noval LBVs have had a good track record of aging IMHO. Your bottle, if stored well, should bring some good pleasure to whomever you share it with. While it won't really appreciate in value from the prices JDAW cites, it will likely continue aging well for at least a few years, softening the tannins and evolving in taste, so while there's no need to wait, there's also no need to rush to open it.
