The BFT homepage shows the available Master Classes now on their homepage:

http://www.thebft.co.uk/index.php?optio ... Itemid=256

I believe it is as well a first-come-first-serve issue.

I applied for the only Masterclass which appealed to me, which was the one being run by Dirk on aged LBVs. I got confirmation last week from Danny that I had been allocated a seat. :D

I have been neglectful of my duties so didn't submit a request until about an hour ago.

Is anyone willing to act as a character witness if it comes down to the wire

Perhaps the only meaningful person to act as your character witness would be Dirk?

I have an extra place, as it turns out. Rachel is starting a new job next week and can't come over. We can explain to the organisers on the day, I presume the numbers are all they're worried about.

My email did explain that I should take my seat promptly as places not taken up will be reallocated, so worst case, hang around the room at the appointed time and you'll likely be admitted.

No, please don't explain to the organisers on the day. Just turn up with DRT and introduce him as Rachel. I want to witness the effect of that...

They met her last year of course. I suppose we could confuse them and say "post-op". It's true after all.

I mean Derek is technically post-op. The ops were on his knees, but they don't have to know that.

Hey! There are a few glasses of mature Niepoort LBV at stake here. I'm not proud enough to turn that opportunity down!

Excited by both the Vesuvio and the Ribeira. And of course the Vau 2011. Time to get our order in?

I will be attending, and at the White Port tasting late in the day. I will try standing around Dirk's at 2pm and the colheitas at noon to see if i can get in.

I have a spare for the colheitas. I had one for the Niepoort but gave it to Derek.

I have managed to secure a place on the white Port tasting also and am on the waiting list for both the Colheita and Dirk's LBV tasting...but if anyone has a spares for either....

The catalogue looks good and as my first BFT, I'm certainly looking forward to it. Is anything happening afterwards-or is this too much to ask after the day's activities?!

If I do something that evening, to borrow Axel's observation, the key will no longer fit in the lock...

Nonsense. She won’t know that you are doing something in the evening until after the locksmith has closed the shop for the day. And by the time the locksmith shop re-opens, you’ll be safely home. What could go wrong?

May I remind you of the jellyish condition to which you were reduced after last year's BFT? Not to mention me.
