I'm wondering if anyone has found a store in the DC area that has a more interesting/diverse/inexpensive port selection than usual. I am familar with the likes of Calvert-Woodley or MacArthur, and while adequate, the selections are pretty pedestrian.

You might consider wading through the nine pages of the list of members, and sending a PM to any who are local to you, and who are also active, in the sense of logging on within the last few months.

Thanks for the suggestion about Schneiders. I haven't been there in ages. It's website seems to have a reasonable list. I'll check it out in person.
