D85 magnum, though served blind, twice, as both ‟Risqué Left” and ‟Ebullient Right” and also as ‟#1” and ‟#2”.

Risqué Left, #1: Loverly red, 50% opaque. Improved in the glass. Started hot and thin, not good. An hour later much much better, lovely. Red fruit.

Ebullient Right, #2: red, 40% opaque. Lots of raspberry. Slight acridity mid-palate.

Guessing was hopeless.

From magnum. Looking to be in the early phase of maturity, still firm on the rim. Attractive on the nose, youthful and full of fruit. Sweet and abalnced on the palate; youthful and lively. Spicy and lingering finish of great length. 89/100. Drunk 15-Feb-13. Decanted 3 hours.
