Ni 20Y, bottled 1975, though served blind as both ‟Moist Left” and as ‟#8”.

Cloudy mucky brown. Not a happy nose, with lots of VA. Taste hot and acidic. Not liked.

No idea what it was.

Bottled 1975. Muddy brown in colour, greening on the rim; 90% opaque. Faint nose, a little over-ripe orange and some golden syrup. Dy orange dominates the palate, with a huge dose of coffee underneath. This has a nice texture. Gentle finish of soft coffee with a long length. Fine port. 86/100. Drunk 15-Feb-13. Decanted 3 hours.
Top Ports in 2022: Quinta do Noval Nacional 1931. I have never drunk such a wonderful bottle of Port. I cried with joy.

2023: Fonseca 1966. There are not many better Ports, except a good bottle of Fonseca 1927. Wow!
