Cheeky! But just in case you were serious, take a look at the sticky on the Organising Offlines forum.

This year's ACPT tasting was a Taylor/Vargellas tasting. Review of the evening here.

Also, the Dow Vertical on 19-Mar-2011 was an American Crossword Puzzle Tournament inspired tasting. (2010 Sandeman, 2011 Dow, 2012 Taylor/Vargellas.) The review thread doesn't mention it, but the planning thread did.

Reminder: lots of images, over 30 megabytes, so computer rather than mobile data.

I've spent some time updating the first post so that it now reflects all our shipper themed tastings from June 2007 to Dec 2023.

I'll update the last couple of years when I get a few moments.

What struck me was how few shipper verticals we do compared to the number of horizontals we hold. Nothing wrong with that, but it's a fact.

Which shipper(s) have we not tasted but who deserve to be tasted? Answers in the Organising a Tasting thread please...

Awkward word, “deserve”. Well, of the thirty-one shippers that have a chapter in The Book (B, BN, Cá, Ck, Cr, Df, D, Fr, Fd, F, GB, GC, G, Ho, K, Kr, Mk, Mz, Mg, Ni, N, O, QH, RP, RV, RO, S, SW, T, TH, W), nine are not in the first post’s list.

I think a Burmester Colheita & Krohn Colheita tasting would be fantastic.

@ Alex - the horizontals rather than verticals focus over the last 7 years is partly my fault as I find horizontals more instructive than verticals so have arranged a good few.

That is not to say I find horizontals more enjoyable than verticals!

It does seem to be a long time since we’ve had a serious look at Dow. I’ll ask for expressions of interest.
