Vargellathon II?

Do you think we'll ever repeat the
Vargellathon tasting in the future? I have a handful of vintages of Vargellas from the '60s, '70s and '80s and I'm trying to decide whether to drink through them or keep them for a re-run in, say, 2018.
One of these vintages is the 1964, Glenn. Any plans to visit the UK in 2014...?

I currently have '57, '67, '69, '72, '78, '87 & '96, and will doubtless secure a few more over time.
However, before we return to Vargellas, isn't it about time we had a full blown Taylor vertical?
One for 2012 perhaps..?

I missed the TV tasting, so would welcome a repeat.

Not currently, but that's more because I rarely plan that far ahead than for any other reason.

I would be keen for a revisit at some stage (perhaps, as we did at the Malvedos tasting, with a smattering of Taylor’s classic vintages for ‟calibration” purposes?).
Two other ideas that I have had for a while and which would require some Vargellas bottles are:
i) a Vargellas v. Terra Feita tasting, though this would not need anything older than the 1980s; and
ii) a SQVP version of the first

tasting where we blind taste four classic SQVPs--Vargellas, Malvedos, Noval and Roeda--from four classic SQVP Vintages. I had pencilled down 1967, 1978, 1987 and 1996 (which I think works without too much need for substitution).

Both excellent ideas I’m in, especially for the former.
