Does anybody have information on Quinta do Penedo do Salto? I believe that their grapes were part of the Smith Woodhouse 2003 blend, but do any :tpf: readers know more?

(Yes, I know, I could ask the man. But this is doing my homework first.)

No, sorry. Google doesn't seem to know much either.

From Justerini & Brooks’ in-bond offer of 2003 vintage port, the offer expiring 29 July 2005:

They seem to have gone independant since then and have been producing their own SQVP since 2004.

Not so enthusiastically independent that the port appears on the website.

I would say that Quinta do Penedo do Salto is still selling the Ports to the Symington group. They make still wines and bottle it but they don't bottle Ports. The quinta is located in Soutelo do Douro, very close to Roriz, Aciprestes and S. José.
