Pinhao weather

A lot of online weather services cheat, by giving the impression that you are getting a forecast or reports for a specific location, when in fact you are getting a copy of the report from the nearest available station, which may be some distance away.
Thus most attempts to get weather reports or forecasts for Pinhao results in a copy of that for Vila Real or Regua
However, I have just chanced (by accident) on this source, and note that it is not delivering the same results for nearby towns; so it might be a dedicated forecast for the town..

Tom,
It seems the Pinhao shown in this report is not the same we are looking for. This Pinhao is in the district of Santarém while the Pinhao in the Douro belongs to Vila Real.

- So there is more than one Pinhao!
OK, we know there is a weather station in 'our' Pinhao, as Johnny Symington makes frequent reference to it.
Do you know if reports from that station are available online?

I don't know Tom, but I would say they are not. There are very few weather stations in the Douro and these reports are probably the kind of information you don't want to share with your neighbors!!!

Johnny Symington doesn't seem to regard the information as confidential, but there is always a time lag between the weather occurring, and the publication of his Douro Insider report.
