80% opaque, distinctly aged red rim
Very much a well wood aged port (figs, licorice, prune) on the nose, once the initial blackcurrant hit has blown off.
Palate has cherries in kirsch and high quality chocolate ganache. Quite strong vanilla note, late. A bit sticky.
Interesting but not necessarily better than the previous (2021) iteration, which I didn’t expect.
