1970 Quinta de Santa Barbara Colheita
1970 Quinta de Santa Barbara, from centro de estudos vitivinicola do douro. Decanted 2 hours. A pale olive brown colour, slightly cloudy and with a green toned rim. A little râncio on the nose, sharp edged and sweet but on the palate this is light, hollow and a little bitter. Perhaps some faint dark cocoa but a wine which is drying out and very light. Not very pleasant, but not revolting. 81/100.
