T45, dark red, 40% opaque. Dark sweetness, almost molasses. Oleaginous; utterly lovely.

After a 2 hour decant this needed a little long to get to peak but happy with decant time. Great rich red fruit with power, great balance, long finish. Very enjoyable port. Outstanding. 1 point

1945 Taylor, Audouzed for 2 hours and then decanted for a further 2½ hours. Bottled in Porto. The darkest of the wines in the tasting, 80% opaque. Glorious fruit nose. On the palate the wine is richly fruited but with a fabulous balance to the construction of the palate. Really impressive, the combination of the balance, youth and the exuberant fruitiness is just wonderful. There are even tannins showing on the aftertaste. 95/100.
