Martins 1970 (Hutcheson): orange, 20% opaque; nose not right sour aniseed; palate intensely acidic at end and actively disliked.

Very much browning. Murky. Dried apricot nose and palate. Not really right, I thought. Heat damaged?

1970 F. Martins, from Hutcheson - from the back label of the bottle this is a brand used by Hutcheson for the German market. Pale olive brown with a green rim; lots of sediment settled in the glass but rather pale at about 20% opacity. Very light, very gentle, tasting light a thoroughly inoffensive tawny. Modest but decent aftertaste and finish. 80/100.
