Pop and decant and pour and left to sit for 10 minutes.
Deep crimson rim, still 90% opaque, positively inky. Looks glossy.
Slightly muted nose with some good clean north European fruit (loganberry, redcurrant etc) and esteva.
Rich silky palate with splendid dollops of red, and later black, fruit.
Warm, but not hot, finish. Fine tannins, hint of rosemary, late.
A little bit more forward than the last bottle I had, I think.
Not ready, but already lovely.
