I've just realised what the date is. Tomorrow is December 1st. I need to get my advent calendar out of its box and loaded up with this year's little beauties.

Portious breakfast is an admirable concept but, alas (i) incompatible with advising on the minutiae of legislation and (ii) I won’t get my refills until 25 December. [I should have requested them as a thanksgiving present, will try to remember/ swing that for next year…]

I am quite fortunate in that my birthday falls between the start of the fourth quarter and the start of December.

Perhaps you could follow Royal Precedent and have two birthdays? Your official birthday, with all appropriate attendant pomp and ceremony (and gift), could be towards the end of November?
