95% opaque, purple rim
Nose strong on the violets and chocolate with more dark cherry fruit showing than I remember, it’s really fragrant.
Palate VERY sweet on opening, brief flicker of black cherries and then a brief hit of dark chocolate and VERY dry tannins.
Currently unbalanced, but exciting wine in prospect. I really like what Taylor have been doing in the 21st century.
