35% opacity, mature red-orange, nice sheen. Wonderful nose, herbacious, lavender, rosemary. Full, round, syrupy, orange bomb. Great balance, great structure. Lovely port. 1 point.

Smells of old books. In a good way. Lovely. Vinous. Got a point from me.

A big, deep and rich red colour, 60% opaque. Vibrant and rich on the nose, showing wonderful fruit. A lovely texture on the palate, with sweet orange zest and orange fruit on the palate, building to wonderful levels - such a wonderful mouthful! Zingy citrus jelly finish. This is tremendous, delicious mature Port. My joint wine of the night (along with the 1977). 93/100.
