NV Quevedo White Reserve Lagrima

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Quevedo Reserve Lágrima Branco: bottled 2022 in 9cl for the advent calendar. Apricot orange colour, 30% opaque. Amazingly little showing on the nose, completely empty! Sweet on the palate, plenty of fruit - dried mango and very ripe melon. Extremely sweet, but has the fruit to be able to stand up to the sugar content. The fruit and nectar form the basis of a good and lengthy aftertaste - but this is very sweet. 85/100. 26-Feb-23. Decanted ½ hour.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
