Bottled by Peatling & Cawdron, but any branding on the cork which indicated the shipper was destroyed by the prongs of the Durand corkscrew.

Burnished orange, 20% opaque. At first, nothing on the nose except a little alcohol. Later there was even less with some oxidation showing. Nice texture on the palate with decent acidity but the oxidation the wine had suffered showing clearly. Not Rated. Tasted 13-Jun-23. Decanted 14 hours.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
