Martin acquired this bottle from his late uncle, who probably acquired them through the Civil Service Wine Club and stored them in his garage since delivery. The only time these bottles moved was when Martin brought them to his house.
A delightful mature red colour, 40% opaque. Surprisingly youthful and generous red fruit on the nose, fruit which remains sweet and delicious when the first sip is taken - still quite young and delicious. The tannins are well integrated into the red fruit. This is such a lovely Port, still so young! 94/100. Drunk 24-Apr-23.
