1974 Quevedo Colheita (bottled 2013)

The bottle behind the bar at The White Horse in Newport, Essex; no-one was quite sure how long it had been open. Bottled in 2013. Big and powerful nose; smooth on the palate with brown sugar and lime juice acidity but showing signs of oxidation from being open a long time. NR. Tasted 15-Dec-22.
Top Ports in 2022: Quinta do Noval Nacional 1931. I have never drunk such a wonderful bottle of Port. I cried with joy.

2023: Fonseca 1966. There are not many better Ports.
