Tuesday 11th October - Bring-a-Bottle

Post by nac »

Date: 11th October
Time: 6pm
Place: Boot & Flogger, Green room
Theme: Bring a bottle

Attendees:
- CPR
- PW
- IDJ
- TC
- TC guest
- MPM

(PW edited; Original post from NAC below)
There is a booking for the Red Room at the B&F on the evening of Tuesday 11th October. This was for the now being rescheduled Private Cellar tasting.

I believe a number of attendees are keen to use this for another event, so thought it might be useful to have a separate thread for this.

I won't be attending, so somebody else needs to take on the booking.

If there isn't any interest in using the booking, please let me know and I'll cancel it. If it is going to be used then somebody might want to enquire as to availabilty of the Green Room instead as suspect that'll be big enough?

I'm afraid my partner has arranged other plans so will not be able to attend.

Apologies, but I can't make it that night.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

As there are currently only two potential attendees I’m going to cancel the Red Room booking. If something else is needed, you’ll need to contact B&F to make a booking.

Perfect -
I have a guest I was due to meet on 11th at B&F. He is an avid Port collector….
Planning on cracking open RV31 or similar
Anyone else ?

I've taken the liberty of editing the top post to reflect the current re-plan, which I trust is ok.

Am assuming that this is still going ahead? I can’t match a RV31 but will try and dig out a Cr55, which I found again the other day.

Am still intending to be there.
Am also thinking to bring a '55, one that I don't believe TPF has tasted previously which I hope will be interesting to try.

I'm also able to make it. 55s seem to be a sub-theme, so G55 I think.
