NV Calem Tawny 10YO

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Delicious nose, full of dried fruit. Rich, spreading slowly across the palate. Balanced and fresh with a lovely long finish. Tasted blind. 92/100. Tasted 28-Apr-22.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

I tried this one at their lodge in Porto last year. I realised I didn’t known Cálem’s Ports very well, despite them being quite a famous shipper. Like you, I was rather impressed by the 10-year-old. I couldn’t immediately think of a big commercial shipper that made a better one.
