2005 Kopke White Colheita

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

A gentle ginger-orange colour, 10% opaque. Floral icing sugar and orange water on the nose. Slightly thickened floral perfume and gentle orange with a hint of ginger on the palate. Smooth, medium bodied and nicely mouth-filling - elegant lemon marmalade. Fresh grated root ginger on the aftertaste with hints of tannins and a long sticky ginger jam finish. Served blind. 88/100. Drunk 17-May-22.

20% opacity, golden amber. Nose has apple. Smooth, rich soft, really gentle citrus and honey.
