That was an interesting story, leading to a series of other articles.
It strikes me there must be quite a lot of competition for old “forgotten” stocks sourced from family cellars in the Douro these days. Perhaps it’s just me, but I wouldn’t have been as excited about discovering several pipes of 2001 Colheita as I would have been to discover a single cask of 1917. Hey ho.
